[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of a few pixs taken at Thoresby Estate last September. This one is of Robin Hood's statue (c1955, part of a collection of statues from Francis Frith (so I'm told)) in the courtyard at the estate.

Picture taken in RAW format and four separate images at 2-stop intervals combined together via HDR (Photmatix) helped balance the over-exposed sky with the statue. A minor tweak with saturation and some fancy work on the framing to finish off the image.

I hope you like it.

Hi Dai,

The subject is great but I would liked to have seen more of the statue as you have cut of the top and bottom of the bow. The statue is clearly darker than the bg which spoils the whole shot imo. I would have turned the camera round to take in the full size of the statue as the bg is of not as important.

Regards
Jon
