Some punts moored on a backwater in Oxford after the season is over. Originally a midtone b/w image, with an added sepia layer and a couple of spoonfuls of contrast.

Hi Andy !
I like the vertical look here, the full picture with these patterns is very nice and the added colour is a good choice.
A good starter !
Welcome with our "family"!

This is a super post - such dramatic lines and contrast. TFS. Tim

Great pattern..well done..i love it.

Excellent first entry, Andy! Great contrast and the grain adds a lot to the overall image. Your elongated format works well here. Great job and welcome to TL!

Rock the boat in Oxford ... il ne reste plus beaucoup de place pour y placer une rame.
Composition et couleur très agréable.

Onur

I've seen some of your pictures, and now I've come to the first one you posted. May I at this time welcome you to Treklens. This is a great family atmosphere and you should enjoy it. Everyone is so friendly. This is a great shot with good repetition with all those punts. Seeing them like that makes me want to jump from one to another. (giggle). I like the point of view, and the sepia colour you chose.

An original photo by the texture that take place and the repetition of the boats. I like the composition.

WOW. Stunning photo. I noticed this on the main gallery page of TL and was just compelled to click on it for a larger view. It looks fantastic. I wonder how the original looked in b/w though. I would think that it would look pretty fantastic too.
