[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Everyone. Some photographers are dismissive of the qualities of Ilford SFX 200 Film for infrared photography. I use it regularly and find it a lot less problematic than other infrared films. This posting is a big up for the film and its manufactures for making infrared photography accessible to everyone.

The shot was taken in aperture priority mode at F11 +2stops

P.P. The only P.P. was to add the film edge. I cut up and scanned the film edges. Rotated, Cropped and Inverted the images. Then added to the image by increasing the canvas size, Select, Copy and Paste.

Impressive IR photograph and the PP work for the presentation is top notch (even the technique to scan real film edges is a good idea!). Superb presentation for a photographic format too rarely seen.

Hmmm...a unique image and intriguing! I wondered how you got the film edges on there, and of course the IR is always a little mind-bending. I like the grainy, snowy look here, and the person on the left gives the scene a sense of scale. Well done:)
