Hi Philip.
Probably the best moment to use HDR. Its evenouts the dynamic range perfectly. I like the fact that you kept it real and pure. The colors look great. However I do feel the photo could use a little more contrast. Did you located the white and black points when you did a levels adjustment?
TFS,
Niek
Greetings Philip,I understand that when one posts an HDR image
if the viewer can't tell that it is one, then the application has been done perfectly, which in MHO you have done here.I do like the details both in the architecture & in the colors,
also the textures have more details & the light more warmth.
I would have liked to have seen the same image taken normally to compare in workshop, the effects of the HDR on the image, rather than guess what they are.

Hello Philip, this has a more natural look than many HDR shots that I have seen, and in my opinion, the better for it.
The details of the carvings etc., is wonderful.
The colours seem quite natural too.The cathedral is obviously a light and airy place.
Tfs,regards Jean.

Hello Philip,
I am very impressed with the PP work here and HDR...well done!
Wonderful colours, details and textures.
Mu compliments!
Joni
The HDR process really works well with the fine details inside a cathedral, bringing all of them out and creating a visually striking effect. I'd be interested to know why you didn't use CS3 for the HDR work.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
