Path Of Dreams

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi Everyone. Continuing my experiments with infrared I purchased a couple of rolls of Efka IR820. This film has great qualities creating wonderful black sky's and soft white foliage. This shot was taken at F16 + 2stops
No P.P. work except for crop and reduce for T.L.
I developed the film in ID-11 for 8 minutes at 20c agitating for an initial 30 seconds the for 5 seconds every 30 seconds.
Thanks for looking. Phil. |

dear Philip,
in this shot, I can feel a different depth from that in visible ray.
this black sky is more far and white trees look embossing against the back.
and the black path is sinking beneath the white grass fields.
your title is "dream", but I feel surrealistic sensation of different original stereoscopic effect.
thank you for your interesting and excellent picture.
P.S. I know actually you developed your infrared film by yourself, it is great. my developing tools have been sleeping for long time...
Stunning image Philip, always love to see infrared stuff.
Nice to see your developing your own film too, takes me back, last time I developed any must be about 25 year ago. Where does the time go
:-)
