[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken at a Charity Day my sister hosted at her house. We raised over £1000 for the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust in memory of both our Mum and another friend, who both lost their battle against a brain tumour in recent years.
This little boy is normally the first to smile in front of the camera, but as soon as his face was painted, he had a really serious look on his face... almost as though he was worried that he may spoil his face if he were to smile!! The only post editing was to crop the image.

Good light on this picture. Indeed, a serious look on the boys face. Good that you discarted the information on background, bringing the attention to the boy's face.
