[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is an annual motoring event in Coventry which involves an organized 'run' around the outskirts of the city.
Knowing this was on, I tried to summon the enthusiasm to go and shoot some pics. I'm not 'big' on events for photos, so I left it a bit late, but went anyway.
Instead of going into the site, I decided to stand by the road and wait for interesting cars. In about 45 minutes I had a collection of about 100 different vehicles.
Maybe I need to take this businesslike approach more often.

PP. Cropped. Colorized (H25 S25). Highlights burnt in (3%) on tree in background

Martin...great capture of a beautiful model. The PP, specially colourizing really adds to the mood. I just love old cars. Muy Bueno, Saludos, Robert

Nice effect with the sepia as this goes along with the age of the car (and Grandpa--LOL)! The only thing that would give it away is the 'modern' asphalt, LOL. Love that 'model,' too.

Smart decision Martin!

This way you avoided having to shoot parked cars with dozens of people around them , and other cars too close for a decent composition.

I wish here you could have waited a second more to avoid the sun glare. Apart from that , great choice of filter for recreating the good old days specially with these guys and there classy outfits.
Bravo!
and welcome ( late ) to TL!
Smily will follow :)
Robert

Hello Martin,
I love old cars this one is a beauty. Very well captured and nicely presented in the vintage sepia tones.
Welcome to TrekLens, I'm looking forward seeing more of you work.

Hi Martin,
very beautiful image of the past :-) everything is just as it was from the past even the uniforms and hats, very good PoV and perspective.
TFS,
Nelson
