[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my contribution to the Friday "Time" theme.

Taken at Warwick Castle, this is a scene create by the Tausauds company, re-enacting a relaxing moment for the Earl of Warwick's family in a bygone era. The people are not real, they are made of wax and wearing Edwardian clothing to reflect that era. TFV.

Love the Frame great job all round!

Hi Martyn,

Great image, love the clarity and the composition, loads of depth, with the figure in the foreground. I'm not sure about the frame....its a little too heavy for me, distracts from the scene.IMHO!

Great contribution, TFS,

John

Hi Martyn,
This has the look of a Timeless Old Master to it, love the colours in the room...the frame?...not so sure, but it sure meets Helen's criteria.

An era when people dressed elegantly, were extremely polite and respectful.
Very nicely framed and well done

hello Martyn,

A different era but with an atmosphere that is perfectly reflected by your shot.
I like the formal framing that you used to accentuate what was 'normal' then!
A good pov and nicely composed.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Martyn

An excellent shot here and a good interpretation of the theme title too. Nice sharp detail and good lighting.

I only live 40 mins from Warwich Castle but as yet I still have not had the chance to visit. Embarassing really as both of my sons have been there on school trips

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

A bygone era Martyn and an image most suitable for the theme. The colour and detail you achieved is admirable. Perhaps less of the frame and more image?
David
