Very good action shot here. The focus on the bird it really well done.
And even thought the blurred tassel from the glove shows, it actually gives us a good idea of what it is there for.

Nice catch on this moving Hawk Helen! Not an easy task! I think the glove gives reference, even though the tassel is distracting, we get the idea of what he is doing. They do tend to SWOOP up! Nice work!

Greta shot, the bird is the main subject and is good and sharp, I think the glove should be out of focus, it's a shame about the tassle from the glove haging down but the composition and details make up for that.

Interesting you feel the glove is in the way, I think it adds to the impact of this photo, as it tells me that this is a bird in training, and helps expalin why it has a tether on its legs.
Your main subject, sharp detail, POV helps one see how low to the ground it had gone.

Slendid capture Helen, nothing to be ashamed of in this compo , i certainly like the angle here truly unusual , you got her right on focus and you'll be forgiven for presenting this one with the glove blurred for i think the target has to be shown one way or another blurred , crisp or somewhere in between cause that's what the bird is going for: the meat, what a day you must have had , i envy you so much ! Enjoyed your notes too and an excellent theme picture ,

I agree with Pete Helen, even though the glove is not in focus it adds an anchor point. Good colour and detail and the bird just enough of centre (or seemingly so),
