[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Members of my local club and I visited a Falconer, Jan Prymaka last week. He displayed his birds for us.

I took this photo and have done nothing to it other than crop it to size and resize the image for uploading.

Very subtle colours Mike, you have caught the image perfectly. The image looks so natural and the use of F8 reall works throwing the background out of focus.

Hello, Mike.

You ask, "I hope that you like this shot". Certainly not! I love it!

This just confirms the conclusion to which I am now coming, namely, that lighting and the subtle depths of light and shade are what really make a good picture stand out above the rest.

The lighting here is just wonderful, the colours perfect and the exposure and sharpness spot-on. What more could one ask?

Oh, yes, I could ask, perhaps, for just a little more of a note to explain where you took the picture, some details about the subject and some more details about any processing which you did - that would be helpful and interesting for others, like myself, who are trying to produce images as fine as this one. That's all.
