Good evening Peeps
A very quick upload tonight as its taken me forever to get on.
This Peacock was basking in the sunshine at Warwick castle last Sunday... yes I did type that word correctly... in case you missed it here is is again "Sunshine"... lovely bright word isn't it.
He had his belly well nestled into the mud and was litterly rolling about it in and flicking dirt accross his back.
This is the first time I have ever seen a peacock close up and I was amazed at the variety of colours. I always knew they carried that lovely turquoise but also he had deeper blues and lovely greens. In addition of course to the brown and cream feathers. Oh and lots of mud.. and ... did I mention the sunshine?
Sadly I cropped his tail here but it wasn't much to see anyway and being such a long bird I couldnt really get a better angle. I have a couple of close up portrait shots to post but wanted to show you this one of the "Sunshine" mud bath first.
Have a good weekend peeps I am off to the shops in the morning to buy Internet brands some make TL faster pills from Tescos in the morning.
TTFN regards Smurfie |
