This is the picture that I should have posted on Monday but I clicked on the wrong thumbnail.
Anyway, here it is now.
I wonder what this guy is thinking about, head down, deep in thought.

I like the colour of the chairs picking up on the blue/white of the sky, it makes a nice contrast. Nice photo!

Wel I can tell you what he thought
''My God .. is Micheal posting me again on Treklens... that is such a trouble for John writing the same critique again''! ^___^ That.Micheal, I am sure,is his thought! But indeed .. this photo looks a little better than previous. Ok .. are we done now?? lol
Cheers
John

After having seen the other, I vote for this one. I more like his composition which opening towards the horizon. Perhaps that this man does nothing makes but he seek beautiful stones! :) Bravo Michael, it's a very good shot! Annie

Excellent shot, the composition's great - well seen.

The composition is perfect and the two deckchairs in the FG with their vivid color a special touch to this excellent shot! The overall lighting is perfect and the detail very good.

P.S. Thank you for your kind comments.

Hi Michael, this is a really strong composition. The deck chairs are standout features against the nice texture of the pebbles. I like the way the eye is naturally lead from chairs, to man and along the length of the awesome pier. My bet is the gentleman in beachcombing! Very well done.

Kindest regards
Wayne

Hi Michael,

To tell you the truth this looks much better that the previous one! It shoows us the sea and the lonely man and that makes it so romantic, so moody! As the previous photo, it's perfect in colour and sharpness! Great POV!
Very well done!

Hi Michael,
the title made me chuckle. I started laughing when I read what John Tulip wrote about the guy lost in thoughts because I wanted to write exatly the same.
I like this version more than the previous one. For some reason it's more ... hmmm ... British in atmosphere I would say :-))))

p.s thank you very much for your nice comments on Wet, wet drive. I told Marek that next time he should drive on the PROPER side of the road and he agreed ;)

Hi Michael,

Very nice, I especially like the way the two chairs light up with the sun.

stunning point of view. Seeing those deck chairs reminds me of when I was a child at Herne Bay beach. Excellent composition, colours and clarity.

Great shot Michael. And excellent lighting on the chairs. Rellay good exposure.
I have a pretty similar type of shot on my pages taken about the same distance away from the pier on the other side of it
