Hello, Karan,
Lovely and warm sunset colours, I like how the sun shows behind the clouds. Your composition of the pier is very good, pity that it doesn't exist any more. I saw the workshop, very good historic photo, it shows where you photographic gene comes from :)

Hi Karan
Good shot and a new version of a sunset against the ruins of a burnt out pier. Well seen. I think you may have been planning this shot while at your conference as I would have been. Well done.

A beautiful shot in itself, and even more interesting when put in context by your note and the old picture in the workshop. Then it becomes quite sad.

Hi Karan,
Another great picture. I like the moody sky with the clam sea. Almost feel like waiting for some thing to happen.

This one has much fewer components that your previous post ansd will therefore not attract as much attention. But technically it is perfect. Well composed, balanced - and it tells a story (combining sundown and decay). Just to be picky - you might have rotated 0.25 degrees anticlockwise to get the horizon perfectly level.

Well, how it looks now to how it used to look before... what a contrast. Why is it that they let it go?... nice take and sambre tone to it.
Well done Karan

Hello Karan,
What catch my eyes here is the wonderful light!
The golden sky and the shimmering reflections in the water is amazing...
What is left of the pier makes a dramatic silhouette to emphasis the atmosphere!

Hi Karan,
What an extreemly wonderful photo. Such stunning light and such an excellent composition. I really love the warm color and those subtle rays of light. This is very impressive.
Now you need to teach me something. What PP work did you do? What were the settings of your camera? Did you shoot it in RAW?
TFS
Niek
P.S. If I do need to nit pick, then there are two little things, the small patch of beach in the bottom right corner. The other is your POV. Your horizon is now at the same height as one the second floor of the pier. If you had a slightly higher POV, the pier would stand out better even more.....but both are really small nits. :)

Great shot Karan, slightly tilted horizon but the overall composition more than makes up for the tilt.
Sky, sea and colours all perfect and the elongated shape is nice.
The workshop is a great idea too!
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

Hi Karan,
You could have waited all day for this shot, but just happened to walk out and catch it at the perfect time! I love the softness of the water, the rays, and the silhoutette of the structure.
All the best,
Karen
