I like this very much, a great feeling of nostalgia to the shot and reminds me of childhood holidays spent on Southend sea front.

I am not sure why but the first that attracted my attention was the telescope, then the sign to the left of the couple. I think there are many elements that crowd this image however they all seem to be well placed within the frame. The colour accents on the couple surely give then emphasis on the image and they create some good focal point. I think in general the picture is nice and shows a good moment in the life of this old couple. Nice work Karen :-)

Very creative treatment of this candid shot. The setting, selected desaturation and the two people engrossed in what they're are doing all work together well to make an interesting well composed shot.
