[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On June 22 the moon was at its lowest orbit since 1987. This was too good an opportunity to miss with the moon sitting low in the sky. It is only an optical illusion, the camera sees the moon just the same size no matter where in the sky it is in relation to the horizon. This was taken on the South coast of England and the moon was rising in the south west. I presume the red colour was from the dust over Africa or Spain maybe.

I have not adjusted colours at all. This is how the camera saw this.

Nice picture - shame your photgraphic skills are better than your literary skills. Blatantly stealing words from a comment applied to another treklens image is not very creative.
