An early morning beach scene at Brighton.
Shot with a polarising filter, there was very little P/P to do other than adjust the density and contrast a touch.

This is a very good photo! I can't help myself when I see a good beach photo :)
I think you used the polarizer very well, although it seems to me that it's much more "visible" at the stones than at the sky! But if that's what you wanted to achieve - OK. The sunrays angle was perfect for the use of polarizing filter (30 - 90 degrees).
Composition is excellent here, I like the visible and incomplete diagonal lines here, they emphasise the composition very nice.

Good job done, TFS!
Regards
Robert

P.S. We can discuss the usage of polarizing filter a lot, I use it often but I don't think I know how to use it well :)
P.P.S. I have answered your question about reducing file sizes in a Forum. Hope it's OK.

Hello Andy, I love this subject: the empty chairs looking at the see, and the pebbles. The colours, composition and pov is great. Very summer like and so refreshing. Makes me want the summer to be endless in such a nice environment. Also the red post adds very much to the compo.

Take care, Yan

Good old Brighten beach. I like the composition and the point of view. If you want to reduce the noise www.NeatImage.com (free download) is good. The polarizer has produced some nice colours here. Nice to see all those deck chairs. Brings back happy memories of my holidays in Herne Bay.

Waving the summer goodbye. Nice picture.

A great image, weird seeing it empty on an obviously great day!
The pebbles are really working for me in this shot, makes me want to take my shoes off, well they are off but you know what I mean ;-)
A great vibrant shot, excellent low pov.
Thanks for posting.
-One thing I would add and that is that your horizon isn't quite straight, just a minor nit-

A fantastic composition. The red point that contrasts with the sky gives much dynamism to this photo.
Congratulations

nice photo. especially like the colourful stones in front. and i feel that photos in blue tones come in style more and more! :) good compo.
well done!

Ha Andy, indeed a quite similair picture of a UK beach.
Very bright colours, is that because of the use of your polarising filter?
The diagonal lines of the chairs and the beach vs. the horizon make it a fine compo.

Really attention-grabbing colour on this one. Nothing bespeaks the English Seaside more than the famous stripey folding deckchair. It looks quite chilly actually - I'd like to bet that deapite appearances, the breeze blowing at the time was rather stiff, and ayone brave enough to venture into the water would be risking hypothermia.

This could just be an illusion based on the predominance of blue in the picture - blue being a "cool" colour.

wow..beautiful, those chairs look so inviting! Love the bright vivid color..TFS
