| The West Pier in Brighton. The pier was built in the 1860s, and remained open until 1976. Since then it has been destroyed by storms and fire. Now this is all that remains. |

hello steve,
what a shame that a once vibrant and useful location has been let to fall into such disrepair. This is a sad and lonley frame but it is a good photograph, and good for you to have realized it. well done.

good compo and mood steve :)

Hey Steve, really nice shot of that West Pier. Superb lighting and composition. TFS, Jerome
I have seen that pier many times but what would also be a good idea is taking a shot with all the birds that fly around the pier. Sometimes, there are clouds of them...
Hello Steve !
If I am not mistaking, This pier was almost THE icon of Brighton, that we saw in the books, and magazines for ages.
Didn't they have any project to save it or restore it for future generations, or they intend to build a brand new one in the coming years ?
Great POV and DOF.
TFS,
Robert
