[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Chichester cathedral on a beautiful December day.
The Cathedral stands in the centre of the city, a dominating influence and a landmark for all the surrounding countryside. In 1075 William the Conqueror ordered a cathedral to be built in Chichester and the main part of the present building was dedicated in 1108. After two serious fires it was reconsecrated in 1199.

Superb Michael, great view on the cathedral with a very nice sky behind, sharpness and light is excellent !

Nice capture michael. I like the way you have the spire against the nice blue sky it gives good contrast. Interesting note too. Good job!

nice angle
blue sky and sandstone colours work well
POV and crop position good

Excellent, non-typical composition. I like how most of the image is taken up by the sky and not the cathedral. The soft pattern of clouds in the sky offers a nice contrast to the hard, angular lines of the building. Well seen.
