[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well, it's my hundredth post so I have reverted to a tried and trusted formula, my special golden treatment.
This one was really complicated to get right and the Post Processing list was endless, there are other pictures like this that explain how it's done.
Taken at Dell Quay.

Congratulations Michael. I still haven't perfected that process :). Stunning scene even without the PP work. Good POV and a lovely effect created.
David
PS thanks for the comment and the workshop on my 'Willow'

Hi Michael,

Looks very good, nice colours. For the composition, maybe you could show a bit more sky and less dark water in the front.

Cheers,
Pedro

Congrats on your 100th post!
Very excellent image with a gorgeous feel from the golden treatment.
Has that beautiful painting feel to it.
I would like a little more contrast for my taste but it could just be the gamma difference on my Mac.
Anyway, love the scene and great decisive moment.

take care,
~M~

Congrats on the 100 and you picked an extraordinary picture to reprent it.

Ben.

I'm joining the others with my wishes at the occasion of your 100th post, Congrats and thanks to bring us your photographic work. In this one you got an exceptionnal sky.

It certainly has the feel of a sunset. The darkness of the left does seem to hide details, but I think that the darker areas actually help with the image rather than distract as it balances with the brightness of the light. The silhouetted structure adds some interest and being so dark add a little but of mystery to ponder.
Congratulations on 100 posts.

congratulations, a golden image, tfs, M (*_*)

Hi Michael,

At the very first place, congractulations on your 100th post :) The image is stunning. Gold color all over the scene made it divine. TFS.

Kiran.

Go GOLD! Congratulations with your 100th posting. Well done. Another golden winner as usual. Lovely scene enriched by the strong golden colours.

One of your best images and it works perfectly!
Regarding the Golden Treatment, in which picture did you explain how it's done? I've just posted an image which I converted to sepia and then increased saturation to achieve a golden effect. Is it how you done it as well or did you use a different method?

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 100th POST!!

Shelly:))

100th and again a wonderful one. I love the thexture of the sky, the sun reflection on the water. The boat near the reflection of the sun couldn't be placed better. Darkened pier stays in very good contrast with the bright area of sun reflections. Thanks for asharing and congratulations! Awaiting your next works!
