[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The turkeys are not looking happy in January :)

I took this at a nature centre in the local park. This turkey was strutting around and banging his feathers to make his presence known. He was also standing by the door of the information centre preventing people from coming out

I converted to mono as it gives him a lightly more evil look :)

Yikes that's ugly! But terrific. Great POV and excellent detail, a very good job with the conversion to b&w, it draws attention to the shapes and - ugh - textures of the turkey's danglers!

Hello Karan
Impressive photo, very sharp and with a superb n/w work. Great mood. Congrats, mb

I would have thought turkeys would be looking extremely happy in January, considering the alternative (ie in a curry!).
Superb expression captured and a good idea to convert to mono - somehow it makes it stand out even more. Actually reminds me of something from Aardman Animation or Spitting Image.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
