Hi Peeps

Late posting today as I took a big risk this morning and went to the Hollowell Steam and Shire Horse rally, igonoring the bad weather warnings.

I am so pleased I did as the weather stayed fine all morning. Having returned home the heavens have just opened so I think lady luck was watching over me today.

I took a good variety of shots but had not had time to unload the camera yet.

Todays image was taken on a rainy Sunday a couple of weeks ago. I was not sure about uploading it as the partial leaf in the foreground blurs the view a tad. I decided to use this space for my signature and upload anyway. There is something about this image that I find really pleasing I think its the blue/green colour tones on the leaves they are the tiny leaves from a minature Dianathas plant.

I hope your all having a great weekend and I cant wait to see and show you the pics I took this morning.... Chores first though and I have to go food shopping and do the housework now :-(

TTFN enjoy the rest of your weekend

luv Smurfie

Hello Helen,
This is a wonderful macro shot. The drops of water captured on the leaves look wonderful. The image is sharp and the detail looks good. I like the way the water magnifies the detail in the leaves.
Regards,
Kevin

I must say that I really do love this one. It has all my favorite ingredients... water and green!
Nice sharpness and light... and do I see a reflection of your silhouette in the middle drop???

Cheers,

All the world in a single drop of water :)

This is a grand image -- superb composition, colours and details. Nicely handled light and really wonderful sharpness on the drops.
