Another "scanned" image, the images that work well have a decent parameter for definition. The scanner does not have (nil) DoF and does not know the meaning of "focus". You can still get interesting results... this is more akin to a pinhole camera...you cannot really see what you are getting until it's there!!... good fun though.
This was a nice bit of grass, but it did not take to B/W.. so a soft blue was saturated in, the overall image was massaged with "NeatImage" to reduce noise, slight sharpen after cropping.
I may try a thistle tomorrow... good sharp angles and excellent definition.
Canon Pixma MP170 scanner used. saved to jpeg, altered on Photoshop. |
