For Gerbilratz - You did ask on my photo of my dahlia if there was any chance of a photo of the pesky creature. Well here he is, munching his way through my other tub of dahlias this evening. I am afraid to say that he is now in a bottle of salty water. I seek revenge with the help of Mini-Twinks!!!!!

AAhhh.. I feel honoured and indebted to you for such a nice slug... I do actually like the things.. you have captured a good image, you can smell the slime!!! excellent detail to this ..oh, try putting a small bottle of beer in the ground for them,... very effective "disposal" method.. thanks.. regards h
This critique is a memorial to the slug, Karen, and to your skill in removing it! I'm not normally aggressive but one such creature has completely destroyed my herbs!
This is certainly a fine, detailed shot! I can clearly see the eyes on its antennae, furiously searching for food. Oh, and look at that well-filled stomache! R.I.P.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Karen
Disgusting creature although it looks not so bad on your photo. I hate them, they damage my flowers. Luckily at the moment they are not so abundant on my garden. What about salty water? is it a trap for them?
Nice weekend
Malgorzata
