Northern Ireland is still very much a rural landscape, with lots of rolling hills, hedge rows and sheep dotting almost every field.
I have a real fondness for sheep. These will be January lambs that would have had a hard time as the weather was atrocious during that time.

By mistake, I chopped off the ears of the ewe on the upper right hand corner. I am still getting used to my new camera that does not have a view finder! Honestly, I miss that viewfinder.

My mother always used to chop off the heads of people in photos. I can feel for her. I sometimes find it hard to gauge the whole picture with this LCD screen, especially if the sun is shining on it. Then, it is shoot and hope for the best!

Hi Joni
What a funny capture. Its almost like you can see them saying "he's looking at us again guys!!!).
Not sure if they look a little fuzzy. Not out of focus but maybe you could sharpen the image a bit - not really sure though as still learning all this myself.
Karen

Hi Joni
Lovely shot and the eye contact with the sheep is superb, nicely framed and finished
Regards Pez

Hi Joni,
Great shot of these sheep, you could almost see them thinking. Nice details, maybe could be sharpened a little and shame you chopped off the ears of the sheep top right, but all in all a great shot.

Jane

someone should start a sheep theme. i like the way they all are looking at you. though it is a shame you chopped the ears off the one at the back, you could do with a bit more sky i think.

Hi Joni,
Firstly, we don't see sheep with "it's fleece as white as snow" here. Probably its the weather.
Great shot of the sheep. Love how they actually turn an look at you. Lovely composition with the beautiful green field. Nicely presented with the frame. Job well done.

Best regards,
Sharina

Hello Joni

A superb capture here, wonderful sharpness and detail with good light and natural colour. A small shame the top sheeps head is cropped but superb framing enhances the shot well

TFS regards Helen

Hi Joni,
Lovely capture of this charming flock of woolies. There heavy winter coats are seen full glory and ripe for harvesting. Sharp details and ture colors to this fine country image.
Regards, Tom

I really like the composition of this, it really caught my eye as a thumbnail. And nice title too :)

Such a sweet family photo!
Best regards.

Hello Joni,
what a lovely and cute site. The babies lamb are cute and innocent.
Nice composition , great clarity and right moment.

Foozi

This is great. I don't mind the missing ears--the cropping drew my attention to that corner and I don't think I would have noticed the little one peeking over the other one otherwise. Well done.
