Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland is a very large body of water that connects with the sea. I have been out sailing on the Lough and it is magical. Seals are basking on the rocks and the chances of not getting rained on are slim. There are quite a few islands that seem to be home to sheep only. Farmers obviously ferry the sheep back and forth by boat.
This is the view from my friend Gina's house in early spring. Lucky her.

it is not possible to put a polariser on my camera. Missing that feature for sure. One of the reasons I don't do a lot of landscape shots. They all tend to haze out.

What a lovely place Joni.
Your friend is really lucky indeed!

I think in summertime this must look even more beautiful with all the bushes in lush green...

I really like the realistic colors and the way the clarity fades a bit more as you look more to the distance...

Cheers,
Anneke

Hi Joni,
Wonderful and interesting landscape here!
I like the light , the composition and the pov very much.
Personally I would saturisate these colours a bit more.

Greetings from Netherland,
Adri

Hello Joni. Nice shot, great to see a shot in T.L. that is not saturated and sharpened to death in Photoshop. Thanks for sharing and keeping it real.

Very nice composition and viewpoint here. The lack of polarizer gives it a hand painted feel, as does the slight softness.
Really a very pretty picture for a photograph. ;0)

Hi dear Joni
Wonderful landscape. The soft tones give the picture mellowness and atmosphere.
Best wishes my friend
Melany

The Irish landscape and composition and are beautiful. The Depth of Field is not very good unfortunately. I don't know a lot about a Panasonic. Maybe you have reached maximuun potential with what you have to work with.

Hi Joni,
What a stunning landscape. Beautifully composed, with good details of hillocks. Love the soft colours too. Picture postcard material.

hello Joni,
a good POV gives us a lovely scene. Your friend Gina is lucky to have such a view. The colours look natural and just right. I like the composition although initially I thought perhaps the house should be a little more to the left. But looking at it again I would say it is just fine as it is as it not dead centred.
Bev

A beautiful landscape shot with great colour! Beautiful scenery - somewhere you could sit & just watch for hours!

Welcome Joni,
I like the Ireland landscape. A lot of green and wrinkled surface - mounds, hills lakes and farms.
Regards - Slawek
