Very nice repetition and POV. A good black and white. I like the square format that I am seeing a lot of on this site. I will have to try that. :)
I am thinking that either a white background or more contrast in the photo might be appropriate to really make the columns stand out. Just a thought though. Nice job. JP

Lighting and POV are excellent. Maybe, it needs a little contrast. Masterly captured with good composition. Very well done.

Nice B/W Pierre.
Personnaly, I would have tried it a little bit more near the floor, and with a larger view to the right, to get more of the shadows.

Hi Pierre bonjour et très content de te retrouver - J'étais au Liban pendant une semaine pour obligations professionnelles et je suis aujourd'hui à Bamako où il fait très chaud (+ de 50° C) -
J'aime ta photo, la perspective est superbe et le N&B amène toute la solennité qu'il faut à cette procession -

Excellent diagonal composition. Nice textures with shadows and light. I see others have mentioned the length of the shadows already. Anyway, short shadows and all, I still like it.

With this kind of subject the easy choice is to black and white and you did it very nicely. The tonal values are good so are the composition, point of view and the texture.
