[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken during an experimental shoot with my friend james and his 3 guitars. The shoot was primarily to use different lighting techniques and practice. Bowens 500 studio flash head and lastolite black background. CS4 to desaturate and adjust levels and a 5d mk2 with 24-105 to cature the image.

I like it.

I like the subtlety and drama from your use of one light. The colors are great too.

Is there a second light source? There seems to be some light falling on the back of his neck.

Great shot!

Your experiment has been most successful - the lighting is perfect. The narrow range of colours adds to a subdued mood.

Hello craig,
Thats a good experimantal shot!
I like the use of light, nice moody lighting!
I think u've used a reflector on the back side of ur model or on the opposite side, which really makes the light too good.
I just think that the light on his forehead is very harsh (OE) (just my opinion)

Good one with black BG. :)
