Another shot of Amber - the 19 year old aspiring model.

This pic is one of the many I took on our first photo session.

I met Amber in a Coffee shop and have a pic of that meeting under the title Amber Debut. During our first meeting our discussion on photography and portraits led to this shoot.

This photo session was supposed to be outdoors in the later hours of the afternoon to utilize the natural soft light but unfortunately we had to cancel it due to rain - typical Scottish weather =)

Anyways we decided not to waste our day n plans and go ahead with the shoot - we did this shoot in Amber's living room - which did not have any descent lighting at all =( I had to play with the camera settings a lot before i could get any NON-blurry pic.

This is the first pic that i processed and am posting here for your comments and critiques.

I look forward to all your advise.

You were shooting in very difficult conditions, it seems - artificial light?

Composition isn't bad, I would have suggested you raise the camera just a little - less skin at the bottom of the pic and more hair at the top, which would move her eye into the "golden zone."

It would also remove the distraction of where her arm joins her torso, which, although potentially a subject in its own right for a bodyscape abstract, competes with her face as a dynamic structure within the frame.

A little more connection with her eyes would be good, just a slight turn of her head, perhaps?

Did you add the background yourself?

All of my pickiness aside, I do like the mood of this and I think Amber makes a beautiful model, kudos to you both.

Hello Bro
Another beautiful portrait of Amber u've shared here :)

I like her profile, she very pretty :)

I Agree with Rew about the composition and add that u must have provided more space at the left side of frame.

Good one hope to see more :)
