| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The toadstool's name is derived from the German language and means Seat of Death. This particular one is of a species named 'Fly Agaric'. It is found in woodlands underneath birch or pine trees. It igets its name from earlier time when it was thought to be a natural fly killer. It was soaked in milk or sprinkled with sugar to attract the flies. They would be killed by the poison of the toadstool. |

But what a beauty Jean!
My sister made almost the same picture to hang in her little son's bedroom.

Hello, Jean,
A lovely shot! Remember, these things can poison people just as well as they can poison flies!
Best Wishes,
John.
Hi Jean. Well done on the composition. Lovely colours, good light and well detailed. Buried away somewhere in my gallery is something similar. TFS,
David
Many thanks for your comment on ‘Tamar Tranquillity VI’. It would seem as though I had once again neglected to load the original image…it is there now.
Very nice picture. Love the color contrasts. I especially like the information you have provided with the picture.
Hi,Jean
Nice picture !!!!
Hello Jean,
Nice photo. Good POV, but without flash and after cleaning the scene from grassblades it would have been better. No problem, next time...
Anyway, the Hungarian name of this mushroom is also "Flykiller". It isn't rare here, I also have photos of 'em added to this theme.
Tfs, best wishes, László
