| One of our local red squirells, this chap was the most camera friendly squirell I have came across in the woods. With a 70-200 lens I was able to get within 2 metres which is quite rare. |

Hello there,
What a wonderful little one.
What's more rare is a red squirrel in the UK rather than getting close to it ;-)
A cutie.
Got a few of those in my gallery, but ones from mainland Europe, full of red, and long ears.

Hello, Craig.
Wonderful!
What a superb shot of this cute little fellow. As others have said, these are slippery little chaps and are very camera-shy so you have done very well with this one.
Superb clarity and sharpness and colours and exposure spot-on.
Is the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS lens a new present which you have bought yourself? Is it really as good as all the reviews say?
Incidentally, did you take this in Baxter Park? I believe that that park (very near to my old school, the Morgan Academy) has a very healthy population of red squirrels.
Kind Regards,
John.
ciao Craig !!!!!!!!
beautiful details and colors!
Congrats for getting so close ..
Superb POV!!
