On the way home from a day out in Aberfoyle and the surrounds, including investigating a hotel for friends planning a trip to Scotland, we drove along Loch Ard and I saw this sky in the rear-view mirror. I just had to pull over and set up. The reflection in the water was simply breathtaking.
I've used LightZone for this picture, adjusting colour, tonal distribution and overlaying a B&W layer. |

You are right, David, this is breathtaking! I love the way that the suns rays are piercing the clouds. Excellent p.o.v. You have achieved a great sunset capture and a symmetrical piece of artwork all at the same time. Well spotted!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Hi David,
Lovely sun raise. Especially, I like the sun rays. Nice colors and composition. TFS.
Kiran.

Hi David, lovely calm scene, you have captured the rays of light brilliantly. :)
Simply great; very good exposure!
Hi there!
Incredible shot! I think the fact that there is a distinct lack of detail in the shot actually enhances the feel and mood of the pic. The colours and "soft-focus" make for a glorious dreamy effect.
Well done!
Hi David, WOW! is all I can say here.
