Great POv and a stunning shot, the sky is very strond in this shot, the lighting is perfoect for the composition, the foreground detail is also great.
Did you use a number of layers to achieve the effect of is this as shot?

Hi Douglas, dramatic shot. I love the pov you took here of the simple shot, beautiful colors. I have just GOT to get over there for a shoot some day and do the 'grand tour.' Who knows, maybe Nessie will show? TFS This reminds me of some seascapes in Oregon, USA.

Great shot. A wonderful subject, and well composed. Goods use of the grad filter to match exposures and keep the detail in the clouds. I like the wide angle (I considered the Tokina), especially the crisp line of the horizon.
