Another of my favourite mountains Ben Ime in the Arrochar Alps. After heavy rainfall the burn was running beautifully, everything was soaking and lush just the way I love It. To capture all the detail in the grasses this was 5 raw images into Photomatix pro then tweaked in Nik Colour effects pro.

Greetings Douglas,
great lush natural coloured greens, very typical of the Scottish Highlands. You POV takes us into the scene & up to the hills. Vibrant composition, great flow to the burn.
Why ,if you don't mind me asking, did you choose to go for 5 images rather than three? really interested in the reason helps me understand this HDR more.
Cheers
Ron

Hi Douglas,

Impressive waterfall capture on the country side! The details are simply superb with wonderful colors of the water. The sharpness and POV are just perfect. The ferns and the cloudy sky collectively give mood to your picture. I like the greenary all around.
Well done!

Thanks for posting!

Hi Douglas,
Again another outstanding scenery shot, the colours are vivid and the detail is spectacular suiting to a dramatic landscape such as this.

You keep getting better and better and you are teaching Brian WELL, he also is a killer processor now! This is amazing Douglas! The greens are RICH! I think this is one of your best, deserving of an award!

Hi Douglas,
This photo makes me want to return to beautiful Scotland. Honestly, I think the colors look a little odd. The green is just too green and the seems to be a purplish hiu on the water. I think there is to much blue in the photo causing this coloration.

Niek

Hi Douglas,
a great capture of the Scottish landscape, the PoV is VG and the HDR has given the colours a richness and depth
cheers
Jack

Hi Douglas
Nicely composed with a strong FG in the wet grasses. The HDR was quite effective in evening out the light. Good bold colours.
