| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Oxford English Dictionary Sound 2. Sound, often followed by out: Inquire (especially cautiously or discreetly). This characterful horse lives in a field near me. He is being trained to pull small buggy time carriages and I have spotted him out on the roads near me being put through his paces. he is very tall and slim as you can probably tell by his neck. I thought his one ear cocked to pick up the sound of my "hello boy" was quite comical. |

Hey Bev, You've put it in the wrong theme.
I love that ear cocking to hear what's going on around him - good one for the "SOUND" theme.

Hello Bev,
He looks very sad - and what's happened to his other ear?
It's a very eye catching image - well captured.
Have you got any shots of him in action, pulling his buggy? With the price of petrol, perhaps we shall soon have to resort to old-fashioned horsepower.
Regards,
Peter.
PS: looking forward to some more Appleby Horse Fair pictures.
Hello Bev
A lovely capture here with good contrast and detail.. another use of the word "Sound" in the equestrian world is when their legs and hoofs are good a they are said to be "Sound" on thier legs
TFS and for joining in the theme
kind regards Helen

I think that is cute Bev, I always talk to animals, never mind what people think - they all seem to like it - never mind what I say, so it must be the tone of voice.
Well he likes hearing from you and indeed a comical sight as a reaction to sound - oef it gets complicated now.....
