[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The perfume from this old style rose in my garden is knock your head off gorgeuos.To my shame I can't remember its name even though I planted it. But it is one of the old traditional roses.I have it has a bush variety and as a climber. I can't see the point of planted roses without perfume. Surely, the first reaction to seeing a rose is to sniff it. What a shame when there is nothing to smell.

Hello Bev,

This is a superb picture! The bloom itself stands out so well against the out of focus BG; that little bud and stem complements the full pinkness of the mature flower.

The lighting is just right, with lovely shadows within the petals.

Colours, sharpness and exposure spot on.

What you would call "huggable"!

I have the same problem. I planted my roses and have not a clue to the name! lol Happy to see I'm not the only one!
It seems for my roses every other year they smell really good!

The colors are really amazing.. I love the look of the center of your rose!
