What a beautiful flower! I have never seen one of these tulips the edge is almost laced and so delicate. Your capture is excellent with good DOF and wonderful soft lighting that gives it a romantic feel.Lovely notes and a ncie dedication to a special TL member

Hello Bev, good lighting for this study of tulips.The composition suggests a bouquet being given, which is most appropriate on this occasion.
I like the sharp focus on the fg flower.
I am sure the thought will be appreciated.

...and the doctors did, with modern techniques they sure did a good job I can tell you (by the way - all 4 docters we saw in hospital were female!)
But I got to be the fairy Godmother and was able to make everything right for everyone - so that is a lovely feeling as well.
Now I am a bit tired but I love every moment here on TL - like I go the chance to do my birthday again today, but then on TL.
This probably is your kitchen wall (?) as a perfect BG. Yes those edges on the tulips I love indeed very much and the BG is just perfect to show of that beauty in the best possible way.
