[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A heron takes flight and is framed by the river Annan. I feel really priveleged to live near such a lovely river. Walking the Annan's banks is a real pleasure and not one I have to take a day trip to enjoy. I wasn't going to enter this week's theme as I didn't think I had anything suitable and the very wet weather had put me off venturing out to take more pictures.But having trawled through my pictures I found this, ( despite a computer crash after which I had to send my computer away to get sorted, my hard drive has come back intact. I had been very upset, thinking that some of my family pics and videos plus lots and lots of other photos would be lost. A gentle warning to you all to do your back ups. I shall be purchasing an external hard drive.)

Very fine capture with superb details and the composition is marvellous.
I am not too sure how this fits the theme of "natural framing" though, since I see nothing framing your subject and the BG

Hello Bev,

Good shot but I think ther's is too much light. Can I do a WS to try something ?
I'm not an expert but I would like to do something for this picture.
Nice idea and birds are always free.

Well your notes did say framed by the river Bev. Well captured, no0t an easy task with their nature of flight. A bit bright maybe but then the workshop has created too much darkness and irregulaties,

Hi Bev,

a little too bright on some part but the bird captured very well make this compo amazing, for me it's not an easy task to capture this scene. Nice one.
