Hello Bev,

Your shot really cheered me up on a very wet, autumnal day!
The buttercups in the f/g resemble puppets in a puppet theatre and crtainly appear top be addressing the audience.
A lovely, soft mellow yellow b/g completes the effect.

Hello, Bev. There's definitely not enough pictures of our wonderful buttercups on these sites! Despite being well stopped-down to f/14, you have managed to use a shallow depth-of-field to throw the background well out of focus with wonderful masses of yellow in the area behind the main subject.

Hello Bev,the buttercup in all its stages in front of a lovely soft focused field with a golden glow.
You know that you could have had someone with a buttercup under their chin!Did you ever do that when you were a child? "Do you like butter?"

I am very impressed with this composition. A delightful feature is the sumptuous background, it reminds me of the works of the great painter like Monet. The buttercups are lit brilliantly and appears sharp and delicate. A wonderful contribution to the theme. Danilo

Hi Bev.

Beautiful addition to the theme. I love the slightly soft and fuzzy 'feel' this has. My only suggestion would be to have had the main flowers slightly higher so they could dominate the scene a bit more. However, that's being picky! Lovely piece of work. Regards, Paul.
