| A lane called Summergate.(You will have to take my word for it as the sighnpost is covered with snow). Ideally this would be better with a little warmth from the sun ( that sounds almost like a pun) but you know what I mean. Just a little too two tone. But there's just a touch of humour in the name so I decided to post just to show willing. |

Hi Bev,
Great shot showing how nature has the last laugh after all. The shot is superb you have managed the light very well although there is a little oe on the left. I love the starkness of this photo and the details they are so crisp well posted. Thanks for keeping humour alive and kicking.
Regards
Jon
Hello Bev,
Another excellent winter's scene.
There are two points of entry, each with interest.
My initial focus was on the detail of the footprints, but that quickly changed to the tracks in the road. There is no real conflict as they converge and strengthen the route into the shot.
I love the details of the trees, hedge and rustic gate, and the signpost which reinforces that we are looking in the right direction!
Although the sky is blue and there is a shaft of sunshine, we are under no illusions regarding the temperature!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Hello Bev,
A fine composition. The signpost points the way, and the wheel tracks and the footsteps follow, leading the eye on down the lane. The weak low sun has cast some gentle shadows. The half-seen house roofs tucked down behind the hedges provide a good sense of perspective.
Sharp, clear and simply framed.
Time to get that Land Rover fired up and out into the country for some more shots!
Regards,
Peter.
Hello Bev,
You would have loved the Fort Worth parade.
I like the lighting and the tonal quality here. Great humor also. The UK is really being slammed with the weather.
have a good WE. Joni
