I really like the beautifully controlled perfection of this shot. Great level horizon, good placement of the tree.
So striking the way the power lines are visible in front of the tree, but not against the sky.

Hi Bev,
Beautifully seen and captured, lovely warm light, the sky even looks like you have added a slight coloured grad.

Bev,
This is a wonderful shot that (IMHO) could be improved by cloning out the power lines in front of the tree.
Also, the photo could be cropped to a 1:2.5 ratio which would allow you to post a panoramic version so we could see greater detail.
Thanks,
MP

Lovely image Bev
I like how the light is shining on the power lines.
Regards Tracey
It's a pleasant view Bev. I think it is rather attractive with those white painted buildings and especially with that awesome tree.
I think it would look better without the power lines, but it would be too hard for me to clone them out.
The tree is placed just right :)
Well done

Hi Beverly,
Very nice composition, good presentation.
I like the colored eveninglight of this photo.
The tree with the house are wonderful!
Regards, Marga
Hello, Bev.
It is the lighting that I like in this one. The more I get into this photography lark, the more I feel that lighting is the name of the game.
The low, warm evening light has made this shot - the lovely warm colours on the tree and the lovely shadows of the roofs and walls of those buildings.
Very nice indeed!
Kind Regards,
John.
Bonjour Bev,
Nice landscape. I like the low horizon and the immensity of the scene. It's not a picture where you need to see lots of fine details. I way it is presented give a good idea of how big is the tree. I know the description want to show that the farm is not isolated, but I was Nice shot and TFS

Hello Bev,
The lighting is lovely on this shot!
The tree trunk has turned to gold and the telephone wires have miraculously appeared!
Apart from the lighting, I like the panoramic format with the buildings having a minimal part in the overall composition.
It reminds me so much of early water colours from the last century.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
