| The line of dried grass leading towards the willow is the tideline. The land slopes gently down to the sea. If you look carefully you will see a tiny sliver of the water on the right. This is the Solway coastline on the Scottish side. |

Very nice composition, and wonderful colors, detail, and depth. Great job! TFS
Hello Bev,
A colourful image and a pleasing composition – the yellow gorse bushes enliven the image, and there are good
lead-ins from the left and bottom of the picture. The low tree, just coming into leaf, is well placed too.
Perhaps in an ideal world I would have liked a few more white clouds at the top left to balance the sky, but one must seize the moment and be happy with what nature provides.
It would be very interesting to see a panorama taken from this viewpoint, with more of the Solway Firth included.
Kind regards,
Peter.

Hi Bev
Wonderful image, very well composed, with great colours and light. The detail in the grass is fantastic as the sky that adds depht and dramathysm to the photo.
Regards, mb
Hello Bev,
A lovely natural scene where greens, buffs and blues predominate.
Your pov, where the tideline makes a fine lead towards the willow and the distant clouds, is excellent.
Good, sharp focus catching the texture details of the dried grasses, well.
A little crop of the upper sky would give a better 'thirds' ratio and draw more attention to that wonderful, bubbling cloud.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)
