[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the first day of my holidays so had a trip to the beautiful coastal town of Dunbar, which is quite close to Edinburgh. Will be travelling north on Wednesday, so this will be my last post for a couple of weeks. But I hope to get a few shots whilst I am away :-)

Just liked the simplicity of this shot and the subject. The light as usual was not at its best with the sun only popping out now and then. But at least I managed to record the day before the heavens opened.

See you all soon.

Peter

A very nice one Peter, I like it a lot. A very wide place. Good choice to have only that guy in the picture fishing, it gives a good punch to the picture, a the red sweater adds to it.
Best regards
Guy

Hi Peter a very nice shot of the lone fisherman. Have a wonderful vacation and keep shooting !

Marleen

Excellent composition of a very plain view brought to life by the figure. Paul.

Oh yes, I can identify with this. I have stood many times on a cliff like that waiting for something to bite. Good catch!!! :) I guess the horizon is about 0.5 degrees tilted to the left, but don't worry, it's practically an addiction of mine to watch for tilts. Nice colours - really is the North Sea in all its grey splendour.

Simple and effective, the vastness of the sea is challanged by the fisherman. Nice composition, soft lighting and colors.
Bravo!

Have a great holiday.. and hope to see lots of good pics. This guy has one big rod with him.. and I imagine a lot of line....:)

DAM

Beautiful shot of the lone fisherman on a cloudy day with the great expanse of the mighty ocean to make him appear so small in the whole scheme of things......
Have a great vacation and look forward to your return....:O)

Hi Peter,
Nice shot. I like the vastness you caught. It seems to be like a comment on the odds he has of catching a fish. Oh, I remember many days baking in the sun with nothing to show for. Well done.
Have a good trip, friend.
Richard
