I thought we had managed to kill these beautiful poppies (children helping with path weedkiller) hoever after a years absence they seem to be returning. This is the first one this year.

Nice one, Lisa!

Nice to see that your poppies have come back! We've a few rather nice ones in the front garden but I think they have been just about completely destroyed by the foul weather we've been having. If the weather perks up, they might - not sure.

Anyway, a great picture - lovely and sharp with good colours and contrast - I'm amazed that you managed to get this amount of depth-of-field at f/4. Terrific!

I like the composition, the colours and the blurred b/g.
These poppies are very resilient, it takes a lot to get rid of them completely!
