:-))))) Great moment, your were in right place too!

very beautiful moment! the sharpness and DOF are impressive considering the continuous movements. i love it!

Nice shot!!!
Good composition, correct use of DoF.
C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!!!

Good depth of field Rob getting the hunt master and dogs in focus. Pretty emotive subject these days, maybe become a historical shot. Composition is strong like the use of portrait mode. Well done.

Peter

I like the way you caught the dog at front left almost airborne. beautiful composition!

You can call it "living history" or "relic of an almost past". Brilliant picture with a good collection of tones, controlled DOF, good composition.
TFS Rob !

Very nice angle.. Great capture. However I think the focus was at the dog just above the lead rider where he is the center focus of this photo. A great photo thought.. .

Composition and tones are great...Dynamic structure of the photo makes it strong...

Very nice color and composition. You have room to crop down some from the top.

Well todays the day to take the pictures and post. Well done for capturing this historic moment. Soon they will be riding out and hiding their faces from any form of photography incase of arrest. Thankyou for sharing this well executed photograph.

WOuaahh! We can see that kind of scene at this time of history! Great shot!! I don't think i will see that in Québec for shure! It's a traditional evenment from your region i think. Very good point of view!

The last "shot" of the foxhunt....
You recorded history, Rob.
A picture full of action and a good DOF !

Hi Rob a wonderful picture ! Glad you took it before the chance is gone. Reminds me of the one time we saw that in my region when we were kids, it was amazing, although there were not many foxes left then, so they had taken some 'fox dung' to make the trail.

Thanks for posting !

Marleen

Great, absolutely great and at a very good moment I might add. Great capture of movement!!

Great topical shot Rob with excellent POV colours and DOF ...Paul

I heard about the ban on BBC radio through the internet. You have taken a very historic photo here. Well done on the composition and the depth of field.

Beautiful macro, very nice scene... Well done...

I love the photo, the misty colors the excitement of the hounds. I used to live in Vermont, they still carry on the hunt but use scent not a real fox. Much fun and more fun for the fox too..:o) Again , Awesome photo!

Superb! the moment is all in this photo.nice nice nice.

Genial y britanica escena
Saludos

Nice picture, and DOF is perfect.

Hi John, Very good composition with the dogs in front and those bright red jackets. I saw these years ago near Dartmoor and was thrilled to see with my eyes, but no camera, so you have filled a good slot. Great POV. Murray.

woow! waht can I say, perfect!
nice DOF and the composition is amazing!

Very interesting picture, there is only one island you can shoot something like this! ;)

However, I think You could've achieved more by manipulating the colours at least a little bit - please look at my workshop. Enhancing contrast and saturation helps a lot. Also, I would prefer the focus to include the rider's face.

...Whoops! It seems You disallowed the workshops. Well, let it be! :)

Merhaba Rob
Perfect composition. Good work. Well done

Hi Rob
Great scene I've never seen.
Compliments
Are the dogs in the front Labradors?
Have a nice day
bye Aga

good timing
nice shot
gr8 lens
good job

good picture, cleaver the line to the focal point...

Perfecto :-)

OK,aside from the controversy surrounding this image, it is poorly focused and framed. The horse in front and a few of the dogs are in focus. Furthermore, the colours are drab and everything else is bland. I am trying hard to understand the atraction to this image, which has been reproduced uncountable times, in our day and age. Please, enlighten me????
