After the Competition

My daughter at the end of a gymnastics competition in Edinburgh. The competitors were all lined up waiting for the awards ceremony and I was rolling around the floor with my then new lens whispering 'smile!' to her.
Cropped a bit and then converted all but her to B&W using channel mixer.

Hi Neil
I like how you 'corned' your daughter, she has a great expression and the fact that the other children are in b w make them even less visible.
Well done
David
This is priceless! Very great job making her stand out from the rest of the croud with desaturation. I think that the picture could use a shot of levels because it looks a tad bit dark. Besides that, it's a great picture!

This is adorable. She looks so proud!! I love how you converted all to black and white but her. I'm new to digital photography and I am amazed at how you can get an entirely different look! It would have been a totally different perspective had it been entirely in color.

I like the black and white touch, it really makes your eye zoom in on your daughter. She is very pretty, and i'm sure a wonderful gymnast!
very nice skin tones!
