[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One clump of many thousands around Smeaton lake in East Linton, East Lothian. This area was once a muddy bog. Excavation of the lake was completed in 1830 and curling matches were played in Winter, the last game having been played in 1982.

This year pupils at East Linton Primary School are using the area as a wild place to study for their John Muir Award.
