[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I can only guess at the date on this one as it was taken on my Pentax k1000 and then scanned to computer.
The title refers to an old song "there was a soldier, a scottish soldier who wandered far away" Those over a certain age may remember it.They may also recognize Edinburgh Castle.

Hi David:

I like how you captured this serious guard. I think the colors are off and that probably is because it is an older picture. I tried to adjust it but I don't know how close I am.

Hi David,

Great shot of the sentry I think he is Black Watch but he looks rather glum must be the wind up the kilt. Nice colours and very sharp details, I remember doing that detail a few times. TFS

Hi David,
usd to see in TV but now you show it in sharpness. Always thought in Buckingham, but you showed it in Scotland.
Nice texture and action shot.
Good lighting makinf thre colours look very lovely.
