[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I popped down to east fortune air show last week which was a really good day with great weather. This is my first attempt at airshow shots but I was pretty pleased with the results.
Any advice re this type of shot would be appreciated.
Andy

Lovely angle, crisp shot and the red/white/blue combo is a winner. I like the slight blur on the prop and it gives a touch of the sense of motion of the plane. I've no advice on how to improve this shot but for different effects vary the apertyre/shutter speed....f7.1 may be more than needed at distance but also helps if panning, I guess.

So, no advice, just a well done on a nice capture. Although possibly more negative space ahead of the plane, decentralise it a bit.

Good shot!

Yes some negative space ahead of the plane would add to the photo but appart from that you nailed it.

Colour and details are great.

Hello, Andy.

Advice? Advice? With a picture like this, it is we who should be coming to you for advice, not vice versa.

This is a stunning shot, crisp and razor-sharp and with lovely details and colours. Perfect exposure too. As Richard says, the slight blurring of the propellor adds nicely to the sense of action and movement.

Excellent!

Best Wishes,

John.
