[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Had a trip to the old university town of St Andrews, the place is steeped with history and full of photographic opportunities. This is one of the university buildings, loved the old morris minor in the foreground.

So converted to sepia to enhance the feeling of age.

Hi Peter,
Nice composition. I like the sepia tone which works perfect here.
Antony

This unique old car in front of the building really sets the tone here. The tree on the right edge covers a bit the white sky, but I still think there is too much of that sky. But, the car is so well positioned in the shot that I underdestand why you took that POV. Nice job!

Hi Peter,

You have definately enhanced the feeling of age here! The buildings, the old car and the sepia tone, all match perfectly and create a wonderful and nostalgic composition. Very well done!!
Constantinos

Good composition. The placement of the car is perfect.

I think black and white would be good for this one Peter as it would fit in well with the era of the Morris Minor. My dad used to have one. But, I know how much you like sepia.

Superb, just like something out of heartbeat. Nice tones and composition to the shot.

Excellent work Peter and a grand work to convert to sepia. I see many old Morris Minors as I walk around town, most in mint condition. Wonderful perspective. TFS

We feel like we are stepping back in time with the old car and the old building, Peter. Nice conversion to sepia but I think it would also look good in B&W (as Diana has said). Nicely composed and a bit too bad that the sky is so white. Well done!

Hi Peter,
This is class!

Oooooo! I love the sepia treatment. I think the contrast is great. Lots of crisp details. Overall pleasing image to look at, Peter!

I have been meaning to come back to this, Peter. It is a lovely retro shot, and there really is nothing in it to betray the the current time. I would have like for that sky in the back to be a bit darker though. It is a shade too bright.

Peter good evening.
A very beautiful sepia worthy of a worthy injury which has the air preserved still well. Your sepia is impeccable.

Hi Peter,

The sepia works extremely well in this pic. The moris minor also adds value. Well done.

Hi Peter,
Lovely shot, well composed. I like the sepia tone which I think enchances your great shot.

Nice shot takes me back to my childhood we loved days out in the Morris Minor.
would have been better in B&W more 50s and 60s.. (sepia 20s and 30s)
nice composition..
I noticed the YELLOW LINE would have cloned it out NO PARKING PROBLEMS in the good old days..
nice one

Very interesting photo! The car really makes the shot something special. I think the sepia tone is maybe a little too strong, but it definitely works in sepia. The gothic architecture and that iron fence give the picture a spooky feeling. Very nicely done! My only other comment is that I think the sky in the background is over exposed, which unfortunately washes out some of the finer details in the tree branches.

Great shot!
