There is a relatively simple Route to the summit Of Ben Nevis, known as the Tourist Route that begins at the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre about one mile from Fort William town centre. A path from the youth hostel joins this route a short distance up the mountain. Another popular route is from Steal further up Glen Nevis, it is shorter and steeper, and tends to be used by climbers with a modicum of experience
Some of the scenery shown in the film, Harry Potter, The Hogwarts Express, includes Ben Nevis (Scotland's highest peak, 4,400 feet) and the lakes and rugged countryside of Glen Nevis. Steal Falls, the waterfall at the base of the mountain, is the locale for Harry's battle with a dragon for the Triwizard Tournament in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
It takes you a good 45 minutes to reach the plateau where Steal Falls appears in all its glory. |

Hello Steve.
it's always a pleasure to visite your gallery. I really enjoy this composition because you achieved to capture all the intensity that the water contains. Furthermore I really like the tones of it .. it's very original.
Congratulations, have a nice WE!
